Electrocautery Treatments at SkinGenius

What is Electrocautery?

Electrocautery is a safe and effective way to remove unwanted skin blemishes such as warts, skin tags, moles, thread veins and much more. Treatments are quick and offer immediate results, usually leaving little or no residual marks on the skin.

How does it work?

The treatment is administered using Electrocautery (heat), a skin-safe advanced cosmetic method similar to that used in Laser Hair Removal. The heat cauterises the blemishes from the skin, which will usually fall off on the same day followed by a very quick healing time.

The Treatment

Here at Skingenius Clinic, we have over 25 years experience in the treatment of unwanted blemishes, and are fully qualified to administer treatments. A consultation is required prior to any treatment. Most blemishes can be removed in one treatment here at our clinic in Cheshire.

MOLE REMOVAL TREATMENT

Healthy moles are often pigmented growths or small blemishes on the skin that commonly appear in the first few decades of life in almost everyone. The size and appearance of unsightly moles can be visibly reduced and improved using electrocautery. However, for the clients safety, it is essential to ensure that the mole is a perfectly normal healthy mole before treatment can commence.

Prior to any mole treatment being carried out at the clinic, clients must undergo a mole pre-screening appointment to ensure that the mole is benign and is safe to undergo the removal procedure.
