Profhilo Fillers FAQ

What is the difference between dermal fillers and Profhilo?

Both dermal fillers and Profhilo use hyaluronic acid, but they are used very differently. Whilst dermal filler is injected into specific areas of the face, such as the lips or cheekbones, Profhilo is distributed evenly across the face for a complete refresh.

How long does Profhilo last?

We usually recommend two rounds of Profhilo treatment. Following this, results will be visible after around 4 weeks and should last up to 6 months.

Is Profhilo safe?

Because Profhilo is an entirely natural substance, it’s extremely safe. It’s hydrating effect is great for the skin and there are no major side effects of the treatment. Some people may experience redness and slight bruising, but this will go down within 24 hours.

How does Profhilo work?

Profhilo is specially formulated, containing a high level of hyaluronic acid that adds to the body’s natural resources to boost collagen and elastin in the skin. It draws water from the body so as to keep the skin looking hydrated and luminous.
