The SkinGenius online consultations are designed to provide you with expert advice from leading skin health experts.
During the consultation, we apply our understanding of skin physiology and knowledge of cosmetic science on an individual basis. Clients become educated on skin physiology and the effects of intrinsic/extrinsic factors that contribute to skin ageing, diseases and disorders.
We use a secure video platform to carry out the consultation, and you will receive the same level of expertise and care as having a face-to-face consultation in the clinic.

Your step by step guide to the consultation process
Step 1 - Book Online
Choose from one of the three video consultations from the above list. Click through to the booking page which will highlight availability. Select a suitable date and time and pay the booking fee.
Step 2 - Video Links + Pre Consultation Information
We will send you a confirmation email with the following information. Do not delete this.
- Secure Video Link
- Medical Questionnaire
- Skin Assessment Form
- Complete forms 2 + 3 at least 24 hours before the video consultation.
- Send x 3 good quality photos, without make-up by replying to the confirmation email.
- Full face front
- Full side face – right side
- Full side face – left side
- Read instructions on preparing your skin for the consultation
Step 3 - Preparing your skin for the consultation
So we can provide you with a true skin assessment unlike you have ever experienced before. You must follow these steps to prepare your skin the evening before or at least 6-8 hours prior to the consultation.
- Wash/cleanse your skin as normal with your usual cleansing product.
- DO NOT apply any other product. This includes night products, moisturisers or make-up.
The reason for this is so we can see how your skin functions on its own, without the additional use of cosmetic ingredients. We need a true understanding of your skin so we can prescribe you the best homecare formulations.
Step 4 - The consultation
On the day of the consultation, you will need access to a tablet, laptop or PC with a good quality webcam plus wifi, 4G or 5G. Our secure platform will work best on Google Chrome.
We will deliver your consultation in a private space and your consultation will not be recorded. We also recommend that you are in a private space to avoid any disruptions.
Good lighting is of importance. Sit in a bright room with good lighting on your face, avoid sitting with a window behind you as it creates a silhouette profile.
Step 5 - Following the consultation
During the consultation, we will have discussed your treatment & homecare plan.
Products purchased on the day will get an amount redeemed from the booking fee depending on the type of consultation.
You will receive by email your homecare treatment formula and additional information relating to our in-clinic treatments and subscription plans.
Step 6 - Enjoy your new regime & follow up appointment
We aim to get your skincare regime delivered to your home within 2-3 working days by UPS courier service.
Remember, our products are extremely active and may take a full skin cycle (4-6 weeks) for the skin to adjust to a new regime of prescriptive strength ingredients.
If you have been prescribed one of our retinol nighttime protocols, please ensure to familiarise yourself with the instructions of application in your SkinGenius plan.
We always recommend booking a skincare review 4-6 weeks following the initial consultation.
